It will be interesting to know the methodology used in the study. The document posted on Proximity’s website says the study was „qualitative“ – but the reporting style suggests a quantitative approach. Hmm 🙂

As far as I know they combined quantitative and qualitative methods. Within the qualitative part they conducted expert interviews with decision makers in companies and with independend experts. Within the quantitative part they carried out a online survey with internet users.
Yes, that’s right. The methodology we have used in our study consists of three dimensions:
1. online survey of 2.793 internet users (via OMD Online Panel) – quantitative analysis
2. interviews with decision makers from 13 companies – qualitative analysis
3. interviews with 10 independend experts – qualitative analysis
Further information, statements from the interviews and additional figures will be included in the final report.
Thomas, Michael, thank you for the info! I hope that Proximity will have the final report also available in English (Google Translate is not really reliable…).
